Eczema or "atopic dermatitis," psoriasis, and allergic contact dermatitis are three types of rashes that can be characterized by red, itchy, flakey skin.  Patch testing is an in-office procedure that identifies if you are ingredients in personal care products (i.e. detergents, lotions, shampoos, hair dye, nail polish, etc.).  A shopping list of "safe" products can then be provided to ensure nothing you are using at-home is irritating your skin.
